I'm telling you, Sonic Team is cooking. They're nailing the big "Open Zone" exploration-style platforming with the overworld and they're nailing an exhilirating blend of boost and adventure-style platforming with the stages themselves. It's kind of insane that Sonic Generations, itself a top tier Sonic title, comes off looking kinda clumsy and old-fashioned when paired with Shadow Generations. I've been saying for years now, I can't wait to see what the next game looks like because they keep improving and recapturing the series' identity, and each new game keeps kicking ass. Sonic 3 is gonna make $5 billion dollars at the box office.
